Welcome to Unity GZ – a living laboratory to demonstrate what becomes possible when we remove artificial constraints and let human potential flourish.
The Genesis
Sometimes the most profound journeys begin with simple questions. For me, it started around 2002 with “What are the root causes of the world’s major problems?” Following successive “whys” led me to an unexpected yet consistent answer: money, or more specifically, the systems and constraints it creates.
This realization sparked another question: If we could reinvent society from scratch, leveraging our current knowledge and technologies, what would we create? Years of exploration, including enlightening conversations with visionaries like Jacque Fresco of The Venus Project, led me to understand that the real challenge isn’t imagining a better system – it’s creating a viable path to get there.
The Catalyst: Master Plan 2025
Mid December 2024, what began as a personal project to build a camper van evolved into something far more ambitious. Taking inspiration from Elon Musk’s approach to transformative change, I crafted a master plan that would serve as both proof of concept and catalyst for broader transformation.
The plan centers around a simple but powerful hypothesis: When skilled people unite around a compelling goal, with access to necessary resources and freedom to work as they see fit, they can achieve extraordinary results. Through six interconnected projects, we’re creating a living laboratory that will pioneer the transition from competition to unconditional collaboration.
Core Philosophy: Unity Makes Strength
Born in Belgium, I grew up with “Unity Makes Strength” as our national motto – it always obsessed me! So naturally, it lies at the heart of Unity GZ. More than just Belgium’s motto, it’s a blueprint for transformation. This philosophy is enriched by several key principles:
- Ubuntu Philosophy: “I am because we are” – recognizing our fundamental interconnectedness
- Joy as Compass: Following passion as the driver of action, creating from inspiration rather than obligation
- Open by Default: Sharing knowledge, data, and standards freely to accelerate collective progress
- Beyond Money: Removing artificial constraints to unleash human potential
- Abundance Through Contribution: Creating value through meaningful engagement rather than monetary transactions

Current Status: From Vision to Reality
Unity GZ represents the convergence of years of thinking and recent catalytic events. I’m currently in the foundation phase, building the infrastructure and communities that will support these ambitious goals. The launch of this site marks an important milestone – creating a central hub for collaboration and knowledge sharing.
My immediate focus is on building momentum through community engagement. I’m actively seeking dreamers who want to become pioneers, individuals who share this vision of what’s possible when we truly embrace “Unity Makes Strength.”
